
GREAT BEND – Law enforcement authorities in Barton County are searching for a pair of robbery suspects.
Police in Great Bend reported on Tuesday just after 3 a.m. two men entered the Casey’s General Store on 10th Street wearing what appeared to be home-made plastic masks.
A store employee described one suspect as being a black male,
about 5’8″ and approximately 180 pounds. He was wearing a white do-rag, a lime green mask and a black, white and purple shirt with a lightning bolt design on the front.
The other suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5′ – 5’7″ and weighing about 160 pounds. This suspect was wearing a red hoodie, black pants, and a white mask.
It is unknown if either suspect was armed, according to police. One suspect engaged the clerk while the other took beer and cigarettes.
No employees were harmed during the incident.
The Great Bend Police Department is requesting that anyone with information about who the suspects might be contact Lieutenant David Bailey with the Great Bend Detective Division at 793-4120.
