
SALINA – Two Kansas women were injured in an accident just after 3p.m. on Thursday in Saline County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Buick Lucerne driven by Carolyn J. Beech, 75, Carlton, was east bound on Water well Road. The vehicle failed to yield right of way and struck the drivers side of a Mack truck that was northbound on Donmyer Road.
Beetch and a passenger Ernst, Laverna I. Ernst, 90, Enterprise, were transported to Salina Regional Health Center.
The truck driver Kenneth Paul Cimler, 58, Solomon, was not injured.
The KHP reported all were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
