Kan. man hospitalized after small plane hits the ground, flips

JACKSON COUNTY- A Kansas man was injured in a small plane accident just before 12 noon on Friday in Jackson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported the 1986 Grumman G-164A piloted by Curt Robert Strathman, 28, Axtel, was flying westward two miles east of Emmett.

The plane lost altitude, struck the ground and then flipped over.

Strathman was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.
