TALMO- Three people were injured in an accident just before 11a.m. on Tuesday in Republic County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Jeep Wrangler driven by Marjorie A. Huber, 56, Pocatello, ID., was eastbound on Kansas 148 two miles east of Talmo.

The Jeep began to pass a John Deere tractor. The Jeep hit the tractor in the front left side and entered the north ditch.

Huber and passengers Williams, Kenneth W. Williams, 42, Concordia, and Betty A. Knutter, 35, Agenda, were transported to the Republic County Hospital.

The tractor driver Dennis R. Hansen, 66, Belleville, was not injured.

The occupants of the Jeep were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
