ATWOOD- A teenage driver was injured in an accident just before 8:30 a.m. on Monday in Rawlins County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Chevy pickup driven by Kimberly K. Brunswick, 18, McCook, NE., was northbound on Kansas 23 four miles north of Atwood.

The truck entered the ditch and overturned.
Brunswick was transported to the Rawlins County Health Center.

She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
