Prairie View resident, Hazel Jansonius, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 at Logan Manor in Logan, KS at the age of 90.

She was born in Norton, KS on February 20, 1925 to Herman & Elizabeth (Tillema) Wolters.  Hazel was a homemaker and mother.  Her husband, Harold, preceded her in death in 1995.

Survivors include her sons, Rodney of Prairie View, KS and LeWayne of Stilwell, KS; her daughter, Elaine Jones of Phillipsburg, KS; sisters, Wauneta Schemper of Norton, KS, Dolores Walcott of Albuquerque, NM and Rose Erickson of Phillipsburg; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14, at 10:30 a.m. in the Prairie View Reformed Church, Prairie View, KS with Pastor Aaron Rust officiating.  Burial will follow in the Prairie View Cemetery.

Mrs. Jansonius will lie in-state on Wednesday & Thurs. from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with the family receiving friends Thurs. evening from 7-8 p.m.
