HUTCHINSON – A person of interest in a hit and run accident on June 25th in Hutchinson is in custody.

Police in Hutchinson reported today they arrested Daniel Chitwood on Monday.

He is charged for the collision with a power pole belonging to Westar Energy and Connie’s IDK Eatery restaurant at 1228 E 4th Ave.

Chitwood was arrested for Interference with law enforcement, Failure to Report an accident greater then $1,000, Failure to Give Information after colliding with an Unattended Object, Driving While License Revoked
, and No Liability Insurance
