BELOIT – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. on Wednesday in Mitchell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by Gloria M. Black, 81, Beloit, was traveling in the 2200 block of 340th Road six miles southwest of Beloit.

The driver failed to see and rear-ended a John Deere tractor driven by Jeremy Charles Bledsoe, 30, Randall, which was pulling a New Holland Baler.

Black was transported to Mitchell County Hospital.

Bledsoe was not injured. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
