Kan. teen hospitalized after pickup goes airborne, rolls

MACKSVILLE – A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just after 2 p.m. on Saturday in Stafford County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Dodge pickup driven by Tanner L. Madden, 17, Larned, was eastbound on U.S. 50 two miles east of Macksville.

The pickup crossed the centerline, traveled into the north ditch, hit a field entrance, went airborne and rolled.

Madden was transported to the Stafford County Hospital.

He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
