LEAVENWORTH COUNTY- A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just after 10:30p.m. on Sunday in Leavenworth County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire driven by Savannah M. Yadon, 18, Lawrence, was westbound on Evans Road at 166th Road.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It went off the north shoulder of the roadway and over an embankment

Yadon was transported to KU Medical Center. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
