Hays public safety personnel were on the scene of an accident Friday afternoon on Hall Street where a late-model Mustang rear-ended pickup.

The accident occurred in the 2800 block of Hall just after 1 p.m. The driver of the Mustang sustained minor injuries, but did not require hospitalization.

Shortly after 2 p.m. the scene had been cleared.
