Kansas City, Mo. – Fort Hays State’s Mallory Flagor was named the MIAA Volleyball Hitter of the Week with UCO’s Katy Davis earning MIAA Specialist of the Week.

Mallory Flagor, RS, Fort Hays State
Flagor was very efficient in four non-conference wins for the Tigers at the Johnson & Wales Tournament in Denver. She hit .500 with 50 kills and just six errors on 88 attempts. She averaged a team-best 4.17 kills per set and 1.33 blocks per set. She averaged 4.92 points per set. She hit .692 in a win over York College by going errorless with nine kills on 13 attempts. She hit over .400 in all four matches and recorded six blocks in two of the four matches. The 6-0 rightside hitter is a native Hoisington, Kan. where she competed at Hoisington High School.
MIAA Specialist of the Week
Katy Davis, S, Central Oklahoma
Davis helped No. 19-ranked UCO go 3-0 last week by averaging 11.8 assists a set. The junior setter also contributed six kills, 23 digs, seven assisted blocks and two service aces as the Broncho’s improved to 11-1 on the season. Davis had 44 assists in a sweep of Southeastern Oklahoma, 38 assists, 11 digs and five blocks in a four-set win over Northwestern Oklahoma and 36 assists with seven digs in a sweep of Southwestern Oklahoma. The 5-7 junior setter is a native of Lawrence, Kan. where she competed at Free State High School.
