Man, Kan. 10-year-old hospitalized after car hits I-70 bridge pillar

SALINA – Two people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. on Thursday in Saline County.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski reported a vehicle driven by Efram Winder, 30, Platte City, MO., was westbound on Interstate 70 at Ohio Street.

The vehicle veered off the highway into the median and struck the bridge pillar.

Winder and his 10-year-old daughter, Hannah Winder, Chapman, were taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of injuries.

Efram was transferred to a Wichita hospital early Friday morning.
