SALINE COUNTY – A Kansas woman died from injuries in an accident just after 4:30p.m. on Tuesday in Saline County.

The Saline County Sheriff’s office reported a vehicle driven by Mildred Cassaw, 91, Salina, was traveling on Water well Road southwest of Salina.

Her vehicle was hit by a trash truck as Cassaw tried to make a u-turn at the intersection of Burma Road.

She was transported to Salina Regional Health Center where she died.

The driver of the truck Donald Stephens, 30, was not injured.
