LEBO- A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just before 10a.m. on Saturday in Coffey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Chevy truck driven by Drayden L. Butterfield, 16, Waverly, was northbound on Kansas130 seven miles west of Lebo.

The truck left the highway to get on to 22nd Road. The driver lost control of the truck. It went into the east ditch and struck a tree.

Butterfield was transported to Newman Regional Health Center.

He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
