The Hays After 5 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Rose Garden Banquet Hall. The monthly theme is “Joyful Thanksgiving!”

Leo Groff will be the special feature, showcasing decorative gourds.

Margaret Bideau from Chanute will share her story, “Headed in the Right Direction.” Growing up with low self-esteem, Bideau has often been confused with choosing which direction to take. She is recently widowed and very recently retired as a school teacher. She will share in a humorous way how she is often directionally challenged here on earth.
