GRAINFIELD – One person was injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. on Sunday in Gove County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Leroy Trey Wynn, 48, Colorado Springs, CO., was eastbound on Interstate 70 at Grainfield.

The vehicle sideswiped a 2002 Chevy passenger vehicle that traveled off the road into the south ditch.

Wynn was transported to Gove County Medical Center.

The driver and a passenger in the Chevy from Evergreen, Colorado were not injured.

All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
