HODGEMAN COUNTY – A Kansas man died in an accident just before 2p.m. on Thanksgiving Day in Hodgeman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol a vehicle driven by Frank Espinoza, 70, Hanston, was eastbound on Kansas156 seven miles east of U.S. 283.

The driver lost control due to the icy roads. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled.

Espinoza and passengers Sherlyn R. Espinoza, 50, and Kenneth D. Helfrich, 56, both of Hanston, were transported to Hodgeman County Health Center

Frank Espinoza died at the hospital.

All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
