ELLSWORTH COUNTY- Two men from Salina were injured in an accident just before 3p.m. on Friday in Ellsworth County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1987 Chevy 1500 driven by Larry Burse, 55, Salina, was westbound on Kansas156 just south of Holyrood.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It slid into the path and collided with a semi.

Burse and a passenger Wesley Wade Hudson, 58, Salina, were transported to Salina Regional Medical Center.

The semi driver was not injured.

All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
