MANKATO – Three Kansas women were injured in an accident just before 1p.m. on Friday in Jewell County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Buick LeSabre driven by Victoria N. Moody, 21, Jewell, was northbound on Clinton
The vehicle slid through the stop sign at U.S. 36, in Mankato and hit the driver’s side of a semi.
Moody and passengers in the Buick Cynthia L Vaughan, 15, and Krista Johnson, 20, both of Mankato, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
The semi driver Chase A. Anderson, 23, Hays, was not injured.
The occupants of the Buick were not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
