The next round of precipitation will move into southwest and south central Kansas this morning. As deeper cold air continues to push south, the zone of dangerous accumulating freezing rain will fortunately shift away from southwest Kansas. Far south central Kansas will still remain under the gun for additional ice accumulation through the morning, especially across Barber County.

Today A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as 5. North wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight A chance of snow before 5am, then a chance of snow and sleet. Cloudy, with a low around 20. North wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

SaturdayA chance of snow and sleet before 5pm, then a chance of sleet. Cloudy, with a high near 28. North northeast wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday NightA chance of sleet before 7pm, then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 22. North northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

SundayA 30 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 33. North northeast wind 5 to 7 mph.
