Hays Public Library has announced the launch of KanPay Counter, a point-of-sale solution provided by Kansas.gov that conveniently processes credit card payments over-the-counter.

“KanPay is a quick, convenient, and secure option for patrons to pay for lost item and overdue fees. We are very happy to offer this new service” said Eric Norris, director of the Hays Public Library.

KanPay Counter is designed specifically for state and municipal governments to process credit card payments.

The partnership between Kansas.gov and the State operates under a self-funded model, and no tax dollars or library funds were used to develop and maintain the payment service.
