GRANT COUNTY – A Kansas man died in an accident just before 7:30a.m. on Thursday in Grant County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy Malibu driven by Cesar M. Landeros, 40, Ulysses, was northbound on Kansas 25 ten miles south of Ulysses.
The Chevy drifted onto the northbound shoulder.
The driver overcorrected. The vehicle traveled across both lanes of traffic, vaulted into the southbound ditch and rolled into a field.
Landeros was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Garnand Funeral Home.
Landeros seat back broke, and he was ejected from the vehicle, according to the KHP.
