City of Hays

The Hays Area Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 8:15 a.m. in the commission chambers of Hays City Hall, 1507 Main.

Four public hearings are scheduled:

A.Variance request from Dan and Jennifer Hecker to construct a storage shed at 316 E 6th Street

B. Request from Bernard H Werth for a variance to reduce the front yard building setback at 2015 General Custer Road

C. Request from Luecke Properties LLC for a special use permit to construct storage units at 780 E. 41st Street

D. Variance request from David Randa to allow an off-premise advertising sign to be located at 1104 E 22nd Street

The board will also hear a variance request from Hays Medical Center to place a monument sign at 2509 Canterbury Drive.
