MITCHELL COUNTY – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. on Thursday in Mitchell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Constance Susan Schaffer, 58, Beloit, was eastbound on M Road five miles west of Highway 14.

The driver lost control of the Jeep and it rolled into the south ditch

Schaffer was transported to the Mitchell County Hospital.

She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
