KHP: Patrol car sideswiped on I-70 (VIDEO)

Here is the actual video from yesterday's crash when one of our troopers was sideswiped on I-70 in Trego County. He and his trainee had a Dodge Charger stopped and the pieces you see flying are from the patrol cars mirror and spotlight. #PayAttention #MoveOver

TREGO COUNTY – The Kansas Highway Patrol reminds drivers to pay attention and move over when a law enforcement vehicle is stopped on the side of the road.

A vehicle sideswiped a trooper on Interstate 70 in Trego County on Wednesday, according to Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Tod Hileman of Hays.  The crash knocked the  mirror and spotlight off the patrol car after it was hit.

The trooper and his trainee were not injured.
