A vehicle sideswiped a trooper on Interstate 70 in Trego County on Wednesday, according to Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Tod Hileman of Hays. The crash knocked the mirror and spotlight off the patrol car after it was hit.
The trooper and his trainee were not injured.
