GOODLAND -Officials with the State Fire Marshal’s office are investigating the cause of house fire in Goodland.

The fire in the 300 Block of Broadway Avenue started just after 11p.m. on Thursday, according to fire chief Brian James.

The blaze did extensive damage to a wall and up into the attic. There was also considerable smoke and water damage.

 

Investigator will be headed to a structure fire in Goodland. No injuries.

The four residents of the home were able to escape without injury.

The Red Cross was contacted to assist the family.

No damage assessment was available on Friday.
