Kensington resident Larry J. Dennis passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at Phillips County Health Systems in Phillipsburg, KS at the age of 74.

Larry was born Feb. 13, 1941 in Phillips County to Harold & Iva Mae (Goracke) Dennis.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy, of the home in Kensington; three sons: Jeff, Jason and Jeremy Dennis, all of Kensington; his sisters, Sharon Rust of Kensington and Carol Lare of Edgerton, KS; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Heartland Worship Center, Agra, KS, with Pastor Jonathan Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stone Cemetery, Smith County, KS.

Mr. Dennis will lie in-state on Saturday & Sunday from noon – 9 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with the family receiving friends Sunday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
