Hays city commissioners will meet tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 22, because of this week’s Christmas holiday.
The agenda includes bid award recommendations for improvements of the Fort Hays Municipal Golf Course Pro Shop restroom and a new golf cart storage shed, a replacement of the shed that caught fire and burned September 13. Both projects are expected to be awarded to Commercial Builders, Hays.
The city’s portion of the year’s operating loss for the Hays Aquatic Park and Wilson Swimming Pool, $15,701.06, will be presented for payment to the Hays Recreation Commission from the General Fund Pool Budget.
A resolution will be presented for approval of the new city limit boundaries. Three area were annexed into Hays this year: General Hays Road and 48th Street, 2225 West 41st Street, and 1517 Commerce Parkway.
Members of a Fort Hays State University Leadership 310 team and KSU Watershed Specialist Stacie Minson will present the 2016 Way$ to Water Wi$dom Water Calendar project.

The city commission will also meet Tuesday, Dec. 29, rather than Thursday, Jan. 31, because of the New Year’s holiday.
