PHILLIPS COUNTY- One person was injured in an accident just before 7p.m. on Monday in Phillips County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Freightliner semi driven by Leonard R. Dush, 44, Grand Island, NE., was southbound five miles south of U.S. 36 on 1300 Road.

The semi went off the roadway to the right and entered the west ditch

The driver over corrected and the semi overturned in the middle of the road.

Dush was transported to Phillips County Hospital. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
