1 hospitalized after car collides with a semi in Logan County

KHPLOGAN COUNTY – One person was injured in an accident just after 4p.m. on Wednesday in Logan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Dodge passenger car driven by Kenneth Michael Glass, 65, Bismarck, ND., was southbound on U.S.83 at U.S. 40.

The driver failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and collided with the passenger side of semi that was westbound on U.S. 40

Glass was transported to Logan County Hospital.

The semi driver Boyd, James C. Boyd, 33, Jackson, MS., was not injured.

Glass was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
