THOMAS COUNTY – A semi driver was injured in an accident just after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in Thomas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Peterbilt semi driven by Raymond Martin, 41, Lewellen, NE., was northbound on Kansas 25 ten miles north of Colby.

The truck traveled off the roadway to the right and the driver tried to correct back onto the roadway,

The truck landed the passenger side in the east ditch.

Martin was transported to Citizen’s Medical Center. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
