A few severe storms are possible across southwest Kansas tonight with a large hail and wind threat. The tornado threat should remain off to the extreme northwest. Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, most of the area is under a risk of severe storms, mainly across north central Kansas. Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Southeast wind 8 to 16 mph.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 11am and 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Southeast wind 7 to 11 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
