SALINA – TMP’s Hayden Rohr shot a seven over 77 to finish fourth and lead the Monarchs to an eighth-place finish at the 3A state golf tournament in Salina Monday.

Rohr’s 77 was three shots behind the individual champion Troy Watson from Caney Valley and was the only Monarch in the top 20 at the Salina Municipal Course.

TMP’s Collin Werth finished 37th with an 86. Cameron Rozean finished 67th, Michael Braun was 77th and Alec Stults 78th.

Norton’s Quinton Porter finished 12th with a 79.

Fredonia was the team title with a 329. TMP combined to shoot a 352.
