WICHITA – TMP’s Melissa Pfeifer brought home three second place medals in class 3A at the State Track and Field Championship in Wichita.

Pfeifer place second in the 800 meter run (2:27.21), second in the 1600 meters (5:25.58) and second in the 3200 meters (11:49.40)

Savannah Yost tied for fifth in the high jump clearing a height of 5’2”.

Andrew Hess also brought home a pair of medals for the TMP boys track team.

Hess placed second in the 3200 meters (10:10.52) and seventh in the 1600 meters (4:51.20)

The lady Monarchs placed 10th as a team. Russell finished second.

The TMP boys finished 26th. Norton and Scott City tied for first.
