ELLIS — There are seven candidates for three open positions on the Ellis City Council, according to Ellis County Clerk Donna Maskus.

The candidates are on the Nov. 8 general election ballot.

The candidates are: Martin LeBarge, Nan Brown, Dena Patee, John A. Walz, Jolene Niernberger, Gary Luea and Susan Easton.
