ELLIS–Requests for funding from the city of Ellis next year will be heard from four non-profit groups at tonight’s city council meeting. Asking for consideration within the 2017 city budget are Ellis Alliance, Walter P. Chrysler Museum, Ellis Community Foundation and Ellis Railroad Museum.
Council members will again consider an alarm systems ordinance regulating automated alarm systems and the Ellis Fire Department’s policy for responding to automated alarm systems.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Ellis City Hall. The complete agenda follows.
