The Hays Area Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing Wed., July 13, at 8:15 a.m. in Hays City Hall for a request by Michael McIntyre for a variance to construct a detached garage at 2003 Lincoln Drive.

The board will also hear an update on the Uniform Development Code (UDC).

Action: Consider approving a request for a 4 ½ foot variance to reduce the south side
yard building setback from the required 9 ½ feet to 5 feet to construct a detached
garage at 2003 Lincoln Dr.
