W. Kansas man hospitalized after truck rolls

GRANT COUNTY – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday in Grant County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 International Straight Truck driven by Jerry Lee Breese, 39, Ulysses, was eastbound on U.S. 160 two miles East of Ulysses.

The truck traveled off right hand side of the roadway. The driver made an over correction to the left, made an evasive maneuver to the right to avoid hitting another vehicle and rolled.

Breese was transported to Bob Wilson Hospital Ulysses. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.

The crash shut down the U.S. 160 between Ulysses and Hickok for almost 2 hours.
