LOGAN COUNTY- A teen driver was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. on Monday in Logan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1985 GMC pickup driven by Sydney Jarrett Bryan, 16, Richland, WA, was southbound on Prospect Avenue in Oakley.

The driver failed to yield at a stop sign on and was struck by semi that was westbound on U.S. 40.

Bryan was transported the Logan County Hospital.

The semi driver David Roman-Rodarte, 45, Garden City, was not injured.

Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
