WICHITA – The Hays Larks will take on the Alaska Goldpanners at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the second of four quarterfinal games at the NBC World Series in Wichita.

The Larks went 3-0 to win Pool A while the Goldpanners went 2-1 and were runner-up in Pool C. The two met last Wednesday at Larks Park with Hays winning 12-3. You can hear the game on KJLS (103.3-FM) beginning with the Larks pregame show around 4:15 p.m.

The winner will face either the defending NBC WS champion Seattle (WA) Studs or the Kansas Stars in Friday’s semifinals.
