Kan. man, woman hospitalized after Charger goes airborne, rolls

Screen-Shot-2014-07-03-at-5.13.15-AM.pngRENO COUNTY – Two people were injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. on Thursday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Charger driven by Morgan L. McGuire, 20, Newton was eastbound on U.S. 50 three miles northwest of Partridge.

The vehicle left the roadway to the right.

The driver overcorrected crossing the roadway and the vehicle entered the left ditch, came upon a field drive, went airborne and overturned 6 times.

McGuire and a passenger Wilson, James D. Wilson, 27, Newton, were transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

They were both properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
