GREAT BEND – The Hays High boys and girls cross country teams both finished third at the Great Bend Invitational Thursday after at Lake Barton.

The Indian boys scored 87 points, well behind first place Garden City. Senior Nathan Shippy led with way with an eighth place finish while Caden Cunningham placed 12th.

The girls, who were only five points behind first place Great Bend, were led by senior Marie Reveles who finished fourth and Ady Albers who was ninth. Alyassa Bryant also medaled with a 13th place finish.
