GOODLAND – The TMP-Marian girls’ golf team won their second tournament of the season, taking the Goodland Invitational by 27 strokes Tuesday at the Sugar Hills Golf Club. The Monarchs shot a school record 364 in the 1 hole event. Goodland was a distant second with a 391.
Karee Dinkel led the Monarchs with an 83 and finished second after a playoff for first with Rylie Cook of Stanton County. Shannen Chin fired an 85 and finished third. Alison Helget was also in the top-10, finishing 6th after an 92.
Next up for the Monarchs is the Larned Invitational on September 15.
