THOMAS COUNTY -Strong storms rolled across portions of northwest Kansas on Thursday bringing heavy rain, large hail and damaging winds.
Tennis ball size hail and wind gusts of near 70 miles per hour were reported in Thomas County, according to the National Weather Service.

The Weather Service also issued a flash flood warning for Norton and Sheridan County. There were no damage reports early Friday morning, according to a check with Sheriff’s Departments across the region.
