The Ellis County Commission will once again discuss the purposed Blue Sky Acres residential sub-division south of Hays at today’s meeting.
At a meeting earlier this month, a motion to accept the proposed layout of the area failed to receive a second, essentially defeating the proposal.
But, according to County Administrator Phillip Smith-Hanes, the commission has requested the item be put back on the agenda in an effort to resolve the issue.
In April, the final plat was reviewed and approved by the Hays Area Planning Commission. It has also been approved by the Hays City Commission.
The commission will also hear an update on proposed upgrades to the communications center.
Monday’s meeting is at 5 p.m. at the County Administrative Center.
