SALINE COUNTY – Law enforcement authorities are investigating three suspects on suspicion of drug offenses.

Just after 7 a.m. on Friday, the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force, Kansas Highway Patrol and ATF executed a search warrant in the 200 block of South Main Street in Smolan, according to Task Force Commander Lt. Bill Cox.

Authorities arrested 39-year-old Jason Briscoe, Salina, 38-year-old Jaime Hulsey, Salina, and 36-year-old Katessia Kuehn of Smolan, on suspicion of illegal narcotics and weapons crimes.

Cox said more arrests in the case are possible.

Briscoe has previous convictions for aggravated battery, burglary, theft, weapons criminal threat and criminal damage to property in Russell, Ellis and Ottawa County, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
