GEARY COUNTY – A Kansas teen died in an accident just before 9p.m. on Saturday in Geary County.

David Z. Marvin, 18, was attending a party in the 12,000 Block of Clarks Creek Road, according to Sheriff Tony Wolf.

“They got on ATV’s and Marvin was on a car hood behind the ATV being towed around; kind of like a snow sled,” said Wolf.

Marvin was injured when the sled crashed. He was transported to Geary Community Hospital and died.

An autopsy has been ordered in the case, according to Wolf.

The accident remains under investigation.
