Two events are scheduled for this week from the ceramics section of Fort Hays State University’s Department of Art and Design.

The fall edition of the two-day Pottery Sale begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Memorial Union. Wednesday, Nov. 30, the sale also begins at 9 a.m. On both days, the sale ends at 1 p.m. Works by students and by Linda Ganstrom, professor of art and design, will be on sale.

Proceeds support travel by ceramics students and the visiting ceramic artist program.

Also on Tuesday is a reception for an exhibit of Korean ceramics curated by Jessica Hayes, an Abilene senior in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. The reception, open to the public, begins at 6:30 p.m. in Forsyth Library.
