SHAWNEE COUNTY – Emergency responders were busy working numerous accidents early Monday in Shawnee County.

Just before 5a.m. first responders were dispatched to report of accidents on the Westgate Bridge and Oakland Expressway on U.S. 75, according to a media release.

Authorities reported ice in both areas and that all resources were notified to assist with the roads.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported no injuries from the accidents early Monday.

The National Weather Service reports a significant change to weather across Kansas this week. Roadways will be slick.
